Marketplace

The Bellefonte Cruise Marketplace is an opportunity to introduce and, in some cases, reintroduce your goods and services to the local community and beyond. The Historic Bellefonte Cruise is Bellefonte's largest event and brings a crowd of between 10,000 and 15,000 people from across the country. We are anticipating these numbers to grow as our networks expand and our marketing strategy intensifies. This year, we are excited to be proud partners with WTAJ Channel 10 News and will be additionally publicized by sponsors like Auto Connection, the Centre County Gazette and WOWY 97.1 FM. We hope that you join us this year and help make the Bellefonte Cruise a weekend to remember!

In addition to the rules for the Bellefonte Cruise, Marketplace vendors will be expected to follow the following rules:

  1. No pets allowed: exceptions will be made for registered service animals who are specifically trained to perform tasks that aid their owner in completing everyday tasks; all according to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  2. No early tear downs.

  3. No late admission/set up.

  4. No last minute or weather-related cancellations.  The Bellefonte Cruise is rain or shine.  You expected to be there with exception to emergency situations or dangerously inclement weather (i.e. lightning).  The Bellefonte Cruise does not offer refunds for marketplace application fees.

  5. No soliciting outside the marketplace, however if you are interested in adding samples or flyers to our goodie bags, you can submit them to Chairman Pat McCool, and they will be placed in all goodie bags handed out to cruise participants (please supply enough to fill up to 300 goodie bags).

  6. VENDORS MAY PARK ON THE STREET ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE PIN/ADDRESS ABOVE THE BLOCKADE.  YOU MAY NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE NEXT TO THE PARK.

  7. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding COVID19, the Marketplace will operate in accordance with CDC guidelines and borough ordinances/regulations.

  8. No gambling, solicitation, tobacco products, alcohol or drug use is permitted on County property (this includes the courthouse lawn.

  9. The grounds must be left in the same manner in which it was provided.  All vendors will be responsible for cleaning up any litter, clutter and trash that are caused by their activities.

Application

On behalf of the Bellefonte Cruise Committee, we would like to extend an invitation for all local vendors to apply and participate in our upcoming Cruise Marketplace held during The Bellefonte Cruise. Our hopes for this event are to provide not only a venue for local artisans and vendors to sell and advertise quality goods and services but to offer a greater variety of activities and local culture that appeal to all ages. If you are interested in joining us, we would love to hear about your company and the products and/or services you offer. Please include a detailed description of your business with your completed application. Website links, Facebook pages and brochures are welcome!

Applications are due by June 1st, but keep in mind that we will be taking only one Direct Marketing Sales Vendor per company, limiting product types allowing for variety in the marketplace and these spots will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.

Directions

Vendors may park behind both the barricades and the courthouse on the downhill side of High Street.
